PULA, CROATIA, April 2019 — Astra Centar presented How to Hire Skilled Foreign Workers to the Pula Chamber of Commerce. This is part of the organization’s regular learning sessions that help its members get up to date on the latest happenings, innovation and issues surrounding the industry. Leading the information session was Denis Delogu, Director of Regional Operations with support from a colleague and Director Tomislav Petrusic.
The Pula County Chamber is a territorial unit of the Croatian Chamber of Economy for the County of Istria. It has almost 10,000 active members who are legal entities engaged in economic activity, while the remaining part consists of institutions and voluntary members (trades, OPGs).
Astra is bringing awareness to employers of the opportunity to grow their business by hiring skilled foreign workers while creating a global impact on society.
Some important information shared were cost comparison for hiring foreign workers for seasonal or full-time work, the regional source of workers, and the hiring process. In addition, participants learned about Astra’s business nature as a social enterprise and benefit corporation. This is first-time Croatia has a recruitment company that is dedicated to socially responsible hiring.
